The brief
A young family's first build, on a lot they bought before they had drawings.
The problem
They bought the land first, which is normally where this goes wrong. In this case the lot is fine — but the servicing connection sits on the wrong side of a municipal easement, and that shaped the plan before anything else did.
Where it is now
Framing. Roof on by the end of the month, closed in before winter.
